Last Man Standing doesn’t have to stop at the Premier League. Most Last Man Standing apps use the Premier League’s 20 clubs. Terrace Tally can use all 92, from the Premier League to League Two, or just the Championship, League One or League Two. More clubs means the easy picks last longer, and so does the game.

Why use the Football League
- The easy picks last longer. With 20 clubs, the obvious home wins are used up within a few weeks. With 92, there is a sensible pick most weekends for months.
- More upsets. The Championship, League One and League Two are less predictable than the top flight, so nobody is safe for long.
- More fixtures every weekend. A normal Saturday across the four leagues has dozens of matches to choose from, including the Friday night and early Saturday kick-offs.
- For fans of Football League clubs. If your group follows a Championship, League One or League Two club, the game can be played on the football you actually watch.
Choose your leagues
The person running the game picks any combination of the four leagues when they set it up.
| Leagues in the game | Clubs | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Premier League only | 20 | A short game with familiar names |
| Championship only | 24 | A Championship Last Man Standing, for fans of second-tier clubs |
| League One only, or League Two only | 24 | A game on one division, for groups who follow it |
| Championship, League One and League Two | 72 | What some groups call an EFL Last Man Standing: the whole Football League without the top flight |
| All four | 92 | The longest game, with the most choice each round |
Picking a team you don’t follow
In a 92-club game, most picks are teams you don’t watch every week. So the pick screen shows each team’s league position and its last five league results, win, draw or loss, next to its name. You can see who is in form without leaving the app.
Fixtures and results for all four leagues
Fixtures, kick-off times, results and postponements for every league in your game come from our football data feed. Rounds open, close and settle on their own, and every pick is marked won, drawn, lost or called off. The person running the game never enters a result, whichever leagues it uses.
Questions
Can we play just the Championship?
Yes. Choose the Championship and nothing else. The same goes for League One or League Two on its own.
What is an EFL Last Man Standing?
It is what some groups call a Last Man Standing played on the Championship, League One and League Two, rather than the Premier League. In Terrace Tally that is simply a game with those three leagues chosen.
Is this betting?
No. Terrace Tally does not take bets, collect entry fees or hold prize money. If your game has an entry fee, it is paid to the person running it, as it is now; the app only records who has paid.
Terrace Tally is independent. It is not connected with, or endorsed by, the English Football League or any club.
