All season

Predictions League

Follow one club. Predict the score and the scorers for every match, play your Joker on the one you are sure about, and climb the table all season.

  • Any club in the top four divisions of English football
  • Cup ties added as they are drawn
  • Points explained match by match, and Manager of the Month

How the Predictions League works

Round by round

Last Man Standing

Pick one team each round. If they win, you are through; if not, you are out. You cannot pick the same team twice. The last one standing wins.

  • The top four divisions of English football: up to 92 clubs, more leagues on the way
  • Every rule configurable: draws, lives, missed picks, postponements
  • Rounds, results and who is out, all automatic
  • A paid list for the person running it, and no money through the app

1

Get your invitation

The person running your group sends you a link. Open it, sign in with your email and pick the name your mates will see.

2

Pick before the deadline

In a Predictions League, the score and your club’s scorers. In Last Man Standing, one team to win. Change your mind until the deadline; a reminder comes if you forget.

3

Watch it unfold

At the deadline everyone’s picks are shown. Results come in on their own after the final whistle, and points, or who is through, are worked out straight away.

4

Follow the table

The table, or who is still standing, is on your phone all season. Share it to the group chat in one tap.

Keep the competition. Lose the spreadsheet.

Chasing picks, checking results and working out who is still in turns a bit of fun into a weekly job. Terrace Tally takes the routine off your hands, explains every point and every result, and the admin screens are on your phone too.

Results you never enter

Fixtures and results come from our football data feed, so nobody in your group types in a score.

See who is in

A live count of who has picked, reminders sent for you, and the option to enter for someone who asks.

Invite with a link

Share a link on WhatsApp. Approve each person who asks to join, or let them straight in.

Money stays with you

Last Man Standing keeps a list of who has paid you, with the total. The money never goes through Terrace Tally.

You make the picks. We keep the tally.

Starting with our own group.

Terrace Tally began as a Sheffield Wednesday prediction league run on WhatsApp and a spreadsheet. That group is playing the 2026/27 season on the app now, and what we learn from them shapes what comes next.

Last Man Standing is the second game, built the same way, and free while we test it with a small number of groups. If you run a prediction league or a Last Man Standing, or want to start one, tell us about your group on the waiting list: which game, which club you follow if it is a prediction league, and roughly how many of you there are. We will be in touch when there is room.

Groups join the pilot by invitation. There is no public sign-up during the pilot.

Bring Terrace Tally to your group.

Leave your details and we will let you know when there is room in the pilot and when Terrace Tally opens more widely.

Tell us which game you want to play and, for a Predictions League, which club your group follows, and we will email you when it is your turn. You will get one email to confirm the address, and nothing else until there is news.

Questions

What is Terrace Tally?

Online football games for groups of mates, run on your phone. There are two: a Predictions League, where you predict your club’s matches all season, and Last Man Standing, where you pick one team a round and try to be the last one in.

In a Predictions League, do I predict every match?

No. You follow one club and predict that club’s fixtures, not every match in the competition.

What do I predict?

The full-time score and which of your club’s players score. There is a Joker to double your points on a few matches a season, and a set of season picks (where your club finishes, and the top scorer). Your game’s rules page shows exactly how the points work.

How does Last Man Standing work?

Each round you pick one team from that round’s fixtures. If they win, you are through; a draw or a defeat puts you out. You cannot use the same team twice, and the last one standing wins. The person running the game chooses the rules, such as lives or whether a draw survives. Last Man Standing rules

Can we play both?

Yes. A friends group can run a Predictions League and a Last Man Standing at the same time, and everyone sees both on their home screen.

Will I get reminders?

Yes, if you want them. The app can remind you before a deadline if you have not picked, and tell you your points or whether you are through. You choose what you get.

Do I need a password?

No. You sign in with your email address and a six-digit code we send you, and you stay signed in on your phone for the season.

Can I use it now?

Terrace Tally is in a private pilot. Groups join by invitation, and we are adding a small number during the pilot. Join the waiting list and tell us about your group.

How do I join a friends group?

The person running the group sends you an invitation link. Open it, sign in with your email and choose the name your mates will see. Some groups approve each person before they are in.

Which clubs are supported?

For a Predictions League, any club in the Premier League, Championship, League One or League Two; the pilot group follows Sheffield Wednesday. Last Man Standing is not tied to a club. More leagues are on the way, and interest on the waiting list decides which come next.

Will it be free?

The pilot is free, and so is Last Man Standing while we test it. We are looking at a free version for standard play and optional paid extras for groups that want more. Nothing is decided.

Will there be more games?

Possibly. We are concentrating on the Predictions League and Last Man Standing first. If there is a game your group plays on a spreadsheet, tell us at hello@terracetally.com.

Does Terrace Tally take bets or hold prize money?

No. The app does not take bets, collect entry fees or hold prize money. If your Last Man Standing has an entry fee, you pay it to the person running the game, as you do now; the app only lets them tick off who has paid.
